1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using NoCV, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

NoCV is a job matching platform that connects job seekers aged 16-25 with employers through a mobile application. Our service eliminates the need for traditional CVs, focusing instead on skills, availability, and interests.

3. User Accounts

To use NoCV, you must:

• Be between 16-25 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access other users' accounts

5. Employer Responsibilities

Employers using NoCV must:

• Provide accurate job descriptions
• Comply with employment laws and regulations
• Follow fair hiring practices
• Treat job seekers with respect and professionalism
• Verify their business legitimacy

6. Service Terms and Availability

NoCV is completely free during its beta stage, for both job seekers and employers. We're committed to providing a free platform to help young people find flexible work opportunities.

Service Availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues. We will provide advance notice when possible.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using NoCV, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The NoCV platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by NoCV Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

9. Account Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Account deletion is effective immediately, with data retained for 30 days for recovery purposes.

By Us: We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. For serious violations (fraud, harassment), termination is immediate. For other violations, we may provide a warning period.

10. Limitation of Liability

NoCV provides the platform "as is" and cannot guarantee specific employment outcomes. We are not responsible for the actions of employers or job seekers on our platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoCV's total liability shall not exceed £100 or the amount paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

11. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication. Please contact us at shiloh@nocv.uk first.

Formal Disputes: If informal resolution fails, we agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Any unresolved disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales under English law.

12. Force Majeure

NoCV shall not be liable for any delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or government actions.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
